The TEOS™ battery-powered lumbar orthosis is designed for people suffering from lower back pain. TEOS™ aims to apply decompression force to the lumbar spine while still allowing movement. The device consists of a chest belt placed under the ribcage and an abdominal belt worn at the hips. Both belts are equipped with a strap adjustment system to prevent slippage, thus optimizing the decompression force on the lumbar spine. Flexible lateral supports connect the belts, promoting stability and flexibility. The lateral mechanisms allow the distance between the belts to be adjusted to achieve the desired traction force.
